Meet Our Founders
Ghassan Al Amoudi
Ghassan Al-Amoudi is a seasoned executive in the financial service industry with over 30 years of leadership experience. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, operational management, and relationship building, consistently delivering exceptional results. Since October 2022, Ghassan has served as advisor ASYAD Holding Group, where he directs a modern and sophisticated family group. In this role, he focuses on driving significant revenue generation and fostering investment relationships. Ghassan holds the following board memberships:
- AlBaraka Bank – Turkey : Member of the board, Chairman of the Sustainability and Governance Committee and Member of Risk Committee.
- Jordan Islamic Bank – Jordan: Member of the board, Chairman Nomination and Remuneration Committee and Member of Credit and Risk Committee.
- Dar AlHekma University – Saudi Arabia: Member of The Board of Trustees.
- University of Prince Mugrin – Saudi Arabia: Member of The Board of Trustees.
- Ex Board Member – Halwani Bros, where he also functioned as Chairman Nomination & Risk Committee and Member of the Audit Committee.
Meet Our Founders
Dr. Wael Bafakih
Dr. Wael Bafakih, Founder, Partner, and CEO of Wael Fadul Bafakih Attorneys & Legal Consultants, holds a Ph.D. in Commercial Law from the University of Manchester. He possesses extensive expertise in Commercial Law, International Trade, Islamic finance, and Arbitration. Dr. Bafakih is a licensed lawyer and legal consultant authorized to practice by the Saudi Ministry of Commerce and holds several professional licenses in the field of law. He is recognized as an Islamic Finance Specialist and a Financial Dispute Resolution Specialist by the Judicial Scientific Society. Continuously enhancing his skills through participation in courses and workshops covering diverse legal topics, Dr. Bafakih contributes to the advancement of commercial law and arbitration practices. Besides this, Dr Bafakih holds the following credentials:
- Arbitrator accredited by the Ministry of Justice in Saudi Arabia.
- Certified arbitrator at the Conciliation Center for Arbitration and Commercial Expertise at the Arab French Chamber of Commerce.
- Certified arbitrator at the Middle East Arbitration Center.
- Certified arbitrator at the Dubai International Arbitration Center.
- Member of the International Bar Union.
- Member of the Arab Lawyers Union.
- Professional Doctorate in International Law from the University of Nevada.
